TRIMMING & BLANKING PRESS

WELDOR Presses are developed by keeping latest technology in mind. It covers applications of trimming, blanking, piercing, embossing, forming etc. Double sided double column, double geared, two point trimming presses are available upto 500 ton capacity & above.

Frame: Frame is of rigid steel structure fabricated from thick quality steel plates. The geometrical accuracy of the structure is maintained for close  clearance between die & punch.

Slide & Guide ways: The slide is a fabricated structure accurately machined. The 4 point or 6 point guide system is provided ensuring accuracy and more tool life. the extra long guide surfaces are fixed with Laminated hylum or turcite. The gibs are of grey cast iron machined and hand scrapped matched to the sliding surfaces. The slides are provided with mechanical knock out and T-slots.

Pneumatic Balancer: Pneumatic counter balancer are provided to counter the weight of the slide & toolings which help in taking up the bearing clearances and ease slide adjustment.

Drive: the flywheel is driven through a friction clutch mounted on drive shaft. It is then transmitted to crank shaft through gearings. The gears are made of steel.

Electricals: Electric control panel consists of reputed make elements i.e. L&T, Siemens, BCH etc. Selection of work cycle is carried out from the main control panel. The control push button box is fixed on the front of the press. A selector switch for once, inch & Continuous mode of operation is provided. A two hand push button control is also provided for operator's safety. Necessary indicators push-button main switches, emergency stop is provided with control panel.
